"Sounds like you need to go south-east," she said. Evie still looked up in the sky as she spoke. "I need to go almost exactly south, I live around the silver woods and the old forest." she finnaly looked back at Ellie "Sounds like we won't walk together."

Ellie's ears drooped. She had hoped they lived close enough to meet up frequently, but it sounded like they were barely close enough to visit at all, let alone often. "Yeah." She said quietly. "And I'm going to be going more east than south too." She sighed quietly, it was easy to see she was disappointed. "Guess that means I won't see you again until next year."

Evie felt a little sting when Ellie's ears dropped. She did not want her to be sad, especially not on the last day. "Actually..." Evie started. "Belive it or not, my mother's part of the family live around the storage, and we visit them often. That is not so far away, is it?" She said, hoping it would cheer up Ellie. No, that is not only why I said it, she thought. She actually meant what she said. Sure, it would not be often, but to see her a few times of the year before camp would not hurt. It would be rather nice actually!

Ellie's ears pricked back up and she grinned. "That sounds great!" She couldn't believe how excited she felt. Evie was the closest thing she'd ever had to a real friend. She was very excited. "We're on the northern end of the storage caves right now. My parents move from time to time but with my littlest sister still under a year old we won't be moving anytime soon."

She could feel how glad it made Ellie. Evie felt odly glad about that too "I will be sure to remember - who knows, maybe I will even get to meet them!" she said. Over the summercamp Ellie had brought them up a few times. Evie was not the best with kids, but if they were just half as kind as Ellie, then there would be nothing to worry about.

Ellie grinned. "You will. At least you'll meet Mattie. She follows me everywhere." She rolled to her feet suddenly full of energy. "We had better hurry to dinner. I can smell it from here, and the good stuff will be gone if we wait too long." She pranced in place a bit while she waited for Evie. She was excited from thinking about Evie meeting her family and couldn't stay still.

Evie was happy that she had cheered up Ellie, she deserved that. The thoyght of food got her attention, and she was up very fast, and already following Ellie. The thought of spending the last few hours both made Evie sad and happpy. Happy pf course, because Ellie was so nice, but sad because this would be the last few hours they would have together for at least some time.
Evie was slightly impatient to get her food. She had not eaten much the last few days, but the talk with Ellie had brighten up her mood, and she suddenly realized how hungry she was. Evie saw Samantha sitting with her food, waiting for her. She looked at Ellie. "I am going to eat with Samantha, you and Eric are welcome to join us!"

Ellie grinned as she got her food. The thought of being able to introduce Evie to her sisters had her excited. She nodded eagerly as Evie spoke. "Sure thing I'll go get him." She trotted quickly through the other people to Eric's side."Can we eat with Evie please?" Eric chuckled quietly. "Sure El. Let's move then." He gathered up his piles of food and followed her over to Evie and Samantha. He grinned as he sat "Evening ladies, and how are we tonight?" Ellie rolled her eyes. "Do you have to make every thing you say sound like flirting Eric?" He smiled charmingly. "I'm just being polite." He protested slightly as he nuzzled her cheek gently.

Evie nooded at Ellie as respondse, took her food - bread and meat - and she walked over and joined Samantha. "Ellie and Eric will be here in a sec'." she informed her, while she sat down. "How nice!" she said with a smile. Samantha did not say anything, but Evie could see she felt glad that she was making friends with Ellie. Evie did not comment on that. "Evening ladies, and how are we tonight?" she heard, the voice was one that she knew. Evie giggled sarcastic. First time I've been called a "lady", she thought. Samantha giggled too, but she did it genuine. "Do you have to make every thing you say sound like flirting Eric?" Ellie said, sounded a little bit ashamed. Eric smiled back like her words missed him. "I'm just being polite." he said. Was he really flirting? she thought, she could never tell. She quickly turned to Samantha, because she knew what she was about to do. Don't. Flirt. Back. she told her telepathically. You can't tell me what to do! Samantha replied. "The ladies are doing just fine, thank you." Samantha said with a slightly teasing voice. Evie kept herself from sighing.

Ellie groaned quietly and flopped down. Eric smiled at Samantha. "That is wonderful to hear. Nothing cheers me more than knowing lovely creatures such as yourselves are doing well." Ellie shot Evie a look behind Eric's back and mouthed the word 'sorry'. She looked at their mentors then jerked her head trying to signal to Evie. She wasn't really sure if she got it but she carefully started scooting away. They could flirt all they liked, but she would be elsewhere.

Evie smiled and sighed over their tutors behavior. She picked up her food - and the one Ellie had left - and followed Ellie. "Well wasn't that fun." she said. Samantha was a big flirter, Evie had waited almost all summer for the moment she would try with Eric. Since it was the last day, Evie thought she would not get to do it. But she just had to do it the very last day, dosn't she? She thought. "What do you say that we just sit at the meadow here next to the eating area? They can still se us, so when they are... uh, done I guess, they can join us. Plus, here we get to see the stars."

Ellie let out a snort in reply to the first statement. Fun was not a word she would use for that. She grinned and nodded as she followed Evie's lead. "Sounds good to me." She took her plate and got comfortable. "Thanks for that. Ugh, I can't believe him. He is always doing that. He says something nice in that smooth voice of his and mares start flirting and he flirts right back. I swear he does it on purpose." She snorted with laughter and shook her mane. "Not that he dates every living female, he just likes to flirt."

"No worries. Samantha loves to flirt too." she started giggleing. "I am just surprised she have done done it earlier." Once again, she and Ellie laid on the grass and just hung out - this time with food though. Evie laid on the grass and looked up, just as she had done earlier. Fitst she was stuck with surprise, the sky had turned surprising dark. That was fast, she thought. It was not near as dark when she got up right before to get her food. How long was we standing in line? she thought. Stil looking at the sky, she took a bite of the chicken she had taken for dinner. "What is your zodiac sign?" Evie asked, not moving her eyes away from the stars.

Ellie was admiring the sky. With summer drawing to a close it was getting dark sooner. It always felt like it snuck up on her. She glanced at Evie when she asked. Ellie giggled slightly. "Funnily enough it's Gemini. Didn't find that out until after Jynx." She looked at the sky. "What's yours?"

Gemini, Evie thought. How fucking ironic is that? Evie answered Ellie's question. "It's Aquarius. So we are both spring people. Huh." she said. "I never belived in all the things, all the zodiac sign personality nonsense... but I like stars. Do you know where gemini is on the sky?" she asked.
