Ellie looked up at the sky. "Yeah, but you can barely see it anymore. It's right over there." She pointed. "You can just see it on that horizon over there. Eric laughed when I told him my birthday and told me about my Zodiac and showed me the constellation. I love watching the sky anyway so I've memorized all the lessons as far as weather and astrology go. Eric promised me he'd take me to the storage caves to check out books over the winter."

"It is actually not a surprise you like stars, since a lot of light mages apear to do so." Evie said. Just as she said, the sun went down behind the mountains, and all the caspanas changed color. It is still weird getting used to, she thought, as she quickly glimpsed over her coat. She looked back at the sky. "That sounds cool. I went there once, just after Samantha became my tutor. She needed some books to train me, and she figured taking me along would get us to know each other better." Evie said.

Ellie grinned as she stared at the sky. "Eric ran put of things to teach me and didn't want to do only physical stuff so he took me there. I loved it." She stood and stretched a bit. "Looks like they're done being mushy." Eric trotted over looking amused. "It was not that bad you two. Just wait till you find somebody and sit around talking lovey stuff." Ellie pulled a face and stuck out her tongue in disgust. "Yuck. I will never be that sappy."

Evie giggled. It is fun to see them interact, she thought while looking at Ellie ad Eric, they had a special bond. So did she and Samantha, but it was stil somehow cute to see Ellie and Eric. Evie took took the last bite of her food. Just behind Eric, Samantha came trotting as well. "Are you done Evie?" she asked. "Yeah, but why-... wait, already?" "Yeah, sorry to be the party-breaker." Shit. "Oh c'mon! Just a little longer" "No Evie, we need to leave first thing in the morning, you need your rest." Evie sighed and got up. "Sorry, I need to go now." she said looking at Ellie and Eric - motsly Ellie.

Ellie stopped goofing with Eric and scrambled to her feet. She moved closer to Evie and paused. Evie had said she wasn't into touchy feely stuff, but they were saying goodbye. Ellie and Eric weren't leaving until after sunrise, so Evie would be gone when she got up. She moved closer and hesitantly hugged Evie. She held they grey filly a moment before she stepped back. "I'll miss you." It was a simple statement, but true. It wasn't too sappy or emotional, things that Evie didn't do well with. Ellie blinked a few times to keep a tear from slipping out. "Good night."

It did not take long before Ellie was already on her legs and hugging Evie. She was surprised, why was she so... emotional? Evie realized that she was saying goodbye. She was hit with a small wave of sadness. She had hoped they would at least get to see each other in the morning, but she remembered that it would not fit into with Ellie and Eric's plan. Evie hugged back. "I'll miss you." Ellie, and Evie could see she was blinking tears away. "Good night." "'ey, no reason to be sad, okay? I'll come visit you, remember?" Evie said. "You might want to prepare for sisters and parrents for that actually, I'm not to greatest person to have influence on kids." she said with a smile. She tried to make the whole goodbye-scene seem more natural.

Ellie grinned a little. "I doubt there's much you can teach Mattie." She rubbed at her eyes and took a deep breath. "Thanks Evie. It's easier to say "see you later" than it is to say "goodbye"." She stepped closer to Eric and smiled. "So I'll see you later then." She followed Eric of to the sleeping area, but glanced over her shoulder at Evie as they walked.

Evie was glad she had made Ellie feel at least a little bit better. And honestly, Evie was kinda excited to get to see her family and meet up with her again, but in Derenta this time.
"She is so nice," Samantha said, as she too was looking after them.
"Yeah, she really is," Evie replied.
Evie did not sleep as good that night as she had hoped she would. Just as she was sleeping deepest, Samantha woke her up. She was lazy and stubborn and pretended to not hear her, but at the end have to give her act up, as it would have been too obvious she was avoiding her on purpose. She took a quick look at the sky to get a feeling of what time it was. It was dark, and most stars could still be seen. She quickly found gemini and aquarius on the sky. It was that dark. "It's soooo early...!" Evie complained, just loud enough for Samantha to hear. "Oh suck it up," Samantha said with a teasing voice, not bothered by Evie at all. "We are even still in our night coats....!" Evie complained again, as she stretched. "I know, I got us some bread, we will eat it on the way."
It felt weird to leave the place, she felt like she had just gotten used to being there every day, and now she was heading home. She was maybe not as happy about home as others were, but home was home after all, and she missed it, at least a little bit. The road ahead of them was tricky. They had to step carefully since it is harder to climb down a mountain than up, but it started off with just a road, so no worries at least to begin with. As Evie and Samantha had walked for a while, Evie stopped and looked back. The huge magic-grown trees were clear on the horizon. It's weird to think they are all still back there... Evie thought for herself. So many memories, all on just one summer. "Enjoying the view?" Samantha asked. And she had a point, it was very pretty. "Yeah, I guess." "Do so, it will be a whole year before you come back after all. A whole year until you meet Ellie and the others too" Evie smiled. "No, it won't take a whole year. Less."
Samantha nuzzled Evie shortly, and they turned around to begin their trip home.

Ellie did not sleep well that night. She woke briefly when Evie got up, and watched her and Samantha walk out into the darkness. "Goodbye" she thought sadly before curling up again to try and get more sleep.
Ellie felt as though she had only just closed her eyes when she was nudged awake. She opened her eyes to see Eric smiling gently at her. She nuzzled him sleepily and yawned. "This is a first. I don't remember a time you've been awake before me." Eric chuckled softly. "It is the first time I have been up before you smarty-tail. Come on, we eat and we go." Ellie stood and stretched a bit as she looked around. Nearly half the campers were gone already. She shook her mane and followed Eric. He grabbed the small pack he'd brought and passed her some food he had sat beside it. She ate quickly, feeling his urgency and as soon as she was done she nodded. "I'm ready, let's go."
They walked to start but soon Ellie was trotting out. Eric's long legs allowed him to keep up without trotting. For now anyway. If she kept speeding up he'd have little choice but to do do as well. "Take it easy El. We've got days to go even if we ran the whole way, so why not slow down and enjoy the view?" Ellie looked over her shoulder as she snorted. "The only view right now is rocks." Eric chuckled softly. "Yes, but even air mages can appreciate rock. Look at that discolored bit there. I think it looks like your mother." Ellie squinted and tipped her head to one side. "Kinda, maybe, but you know what would be better? Seeing my mom." Eric shook his mane and grinned. "Alright, will do it your way." He took off running, quickly passing her and leaving her in the dust. Ellie squealed in laughter and took off after him. She caught up quickly and soon they were racing along the rocky trails left by mountain dwelling creatures. She smiled as she ran. She would miss camp, mostly because of the learning and Evie, but she missed her family more. She could hardly wait to see them again.
(End😊)

It has been really fun. My real life has been kinda sucky lately but this RP and the one with Dragon, have given me something to look forward to and help me relax.
I don't mind starting the next one for us. Do we want to do a mini one were they meet up outside of camp?
