It had been raining for a while now. And by a while, it had been raining the whole day almost. The last couple days had been full of sun, a good weather to travel in. Most people did not like to travel in rain, but Evie did not mind. A fitting weather. Reminds of me, she thought. Evie was on her way to Jenrill, a little village next to the river that lead from south to north. It was rare that people went alone. It is preferred that a scout don't go alone, but with a warrior at least, and vise versa in the case of a warrior. If it had not been for Evie's "stability " and "unusual needs", (as her parrents had put in nicely,) she doubted to had gotten permission to go alone. Though she is a rebel, she is also very loyal to the herd. The rain got to much for her, and she seeked shelter under a tree. She stood there, looking at the rood she had been walking on. The dirth was slowly turning into mud, and her tracks of her hooves was starting to wash out. Aada was sleeping under some huge rock for almost the whole afternoon. She hated travelling during the rain, so she thought she’d take a long nap at least until the rain stopped. It seemed like a good idea at first, but it wasn’t going by the plan.
A raindrop splashed on Aada’s nose and she jolted awake. She shook her head to fade the shock away. Once her vision cleared Aada took a moment to look at her landscape. Everything quickly came back to her and she growled in frustration. What the hell is wrong with the weather today?! It’s been raining like that since morning and it seriously made her angry.
Aada took a moment of consideration; should she stay here until the rain stops, or start moving regardless? “Fuck it,” she muttered. Aada stood up, flicked her hood on and started slowly pacing from her cover into the wilderness.

Evie stood under the three, wondering when the rain would stop. It had been going on for a long time now. That's a lot of water, she thought. People don't understand how awesome rain is. Water is falling from the fucking sky! I guess that is what happens when people get used to this.... ah shit, this is gonna take a while, isn't it? Evie sat down and opened her bag. It had been a while since she ate. She took a piece of bread out, only to find out it was completely destroyed by the rain. She threw it away, but it did not take long before a few witless birds came and tried to eat it. "Suit yourself." she said.

It didn’t take long until Aada was soaking wet. The worst thing is that there wasn’t any cover. No trees, no huge rocks, except for the one she had just abandoned, no underground caves. Nothing. Just grass and grass everywhere. She couldn’t even see the nearest forest from where she was standing. It’s going to be a long day, she thought bitterly.
She continued to walk nonetheless. She was too stubborn to give up that easily, especially to rain. She’d probably catch an illness after this little adventure in the rain, but she didn’t care. All she cared about was walking. Where? She had no idea. All she knew was she had to go somewhere. Who knows truly? Maybe by walking aimlessly she’ll actually find something interesting, or meet someone interesting. It’s been a while since she actually spoken to someone and that alone made her feel quite lonely.

The sky was grey. Vey grey. It almost had the color of Evie's fur. Except her legs of course. It would be night and stormy if it was so dark. Evie got annoyed. The rain had been going on for a long time now, and she wnted to move on. Sure, it had been nice with a break, but now it was too long. "Augh, shit." she said, and she left the tree. "Just hoped I did not have to use magic." she mumbeld as she walked on. She was no water mage, but she could still do something, about the direction the rain fell. It sure did work.
She walked for a while, until he came to an area with almost no trees. En emty field. There was nothing anywhere. Except for a figure in the distance. It was not something, but someone. Evie squeezed her eyes together. They were small, very small. Was it an witless animal?
