Quán bowed her head again. "Yes, it does sound very good. Fēicháng gǎnxiè Ms Mio," she said, purposefully using the old Eriwonese words that were more commonly used in the smaller villages than in the big cities. The heritage she claimed to have would be more believable that way. When cases of death, most likely murder, had been mentioned, Quán had not batted an eye. She had not wanted to assume anything for such a luxurious establishment, but it still was not a little surprising piece of information. Death she could handle, at least as long as it didn't concern her personally. Of something would happen to Yun though...No, she couldn't think like that. Nothing would happen to Yun, end of story. "May I ask when work will start tomorrow and what my tasks will be for now?"

Satomi smiled, pleased that she had made her happy by at least giving her a chance."Actually, I want you to take tomorrow off," Satomi said. "You only came to Wonsu yesterday, did you not? And then you spent all day today looking for a job. Explore the city maybe, or our garden, it will be open for guests tomorrow." Satomi looked out of the window and over to the side of the buildings were Quán's room would be. "I am sure he would appreciate spending a day with his mother, without her having to worry about all sorts of things. Kids are kids, but they notice things like that." Her voice was calm and gentle. She was not questioning Quán's observation of her child, but stressed parents were only something Satomi remembered too well in her own childhood.

Quán smiled happily. Exploring the city without having to worry about getting a job didn't sound bad at all. She needed to make herself more familiar with it anyway and maybe even get a map from somewhere. Yes, a map would be very useful. Besides, spending a day with her son where she didn't have to drag him around to certain places seemed ideal. He also needed a break from all the stress, Ms Mio was quite right with that. "That really is very kind of you, Ms Mio. Xièxie," Quán said with a respectful bow. [96 words]
"Xièxie" = "Thank you" in Chinese. This is actually one of the words that is commonly used in the Eriwonese dialect and not just by those from the small villages. It kind of carried over since it's one of the more simpler things to say...at least if you ask Eriwonese people, I'm still struggling with the pronounciation :'D

"You are very welcome," Satomi said while making a little polite bow as well. It made her happy knowing that Yun had a nice day before him, without him even knowing it. What is it with me and kids? She got up from her chair and walked over to the door where her and Miss Shui had come from, and opened it for her. "I am very glad we could come to an agreement today," she said and smiled.

"I am glad too," Quán said and got up. She bowed in goodbye when passing the dark mare and then left through the open door.

Satomi smiled for a final time before closing the door, making sure of locking it as well. She then went over to the window where the slave still stood in the garden. "It showed up that I did not need assistance anyway, but thank you for waiting," she said telepathically to him. He gave her a polite nod to confirmed that he had heard her, and he went off. Can't be too sure, she thought. She heavily doubted that the woman was going to be a danger, but she had still just let a stranger into her house, and Satomi knew close to nothing of self-defense, so she always made sure to keep a slave or someone else close, even in cases like these. Unsurprisingly, she did not have to this time.
Satomi went upstairs to the third floor, where she had been before. She opened the door carefully, but she still interrupted Miyu and Yin who were still with their heads in a book, but this time they had an empty plate in front of them. "Keep reading, I will need your help in a second," she said and she sat down at her desk. She found paper and pen to write with. She then wrote two small identical notes, nicely informing that the hotel now had a new employee for at least a week. "Miyu, do you mind taking these to the two entrances? Tell the receptionist there then to inform everyone when they come in tomorrow, that we might have a new employee." Miyu raised her ear when she heard the words "new employee", and Satomi noticed that. "I am very tired, I don't mind explaining it tomorrow, and please take Yin with you when you leave." Miyu nodded while saying "Yes Miss Mio," she put the book in place, took the plate and the two notes and flew out with Yin. "Goodnight Yin," Satomi said before they were out, and Yin replied "Goodnight!"
Their homes living room was on the second floor1, and that was where their bookcase was. Satomi's eyes glanced over all the titles one after another to find the one she was looking for. She took out the book and started to flip through them before she finally found the name she was looking for. 'Quán. Meaning: Small stream' it said on the page. Pretty, she thought while flipping through the pages again. 'Shui. Meaning: Water'. Satomi kept reading, making sure it was right what she read was right. It took her some time looking up the final name. 'Yun. Meaning: Born in the clouds.' "Hmm?" she accidentally mumbled out loud. All the names were related to water. Convenient... VERY convenient, Satomi thought. Was it something worth remembering, or was it really a coincidence? Always worth remembering, she then decided.
"What are you 'hmm'-ing about?" a voice said. Satomi had been so concentrated in her discovery, that she did not hear her brother Shiro come in. "Oh, it's nothing," she said and placed the book back on the shelf. "How did the meeting go?" she asked. He had told her, but she did not remember anything about what the meeting was, she did not care at the time. She did not care still, but it was polite to ask. "Good," she said. She could see on his face that there was something else bothering him. "My tea-set, in my office. Somebody used it," he said. She sighed. I forgot to put it back, she thought. What made it worse was knowing that everything she had to do was to ask a raccardi to do it. Stupid, she thought. Oh well, he was going to find out otherwise. "I used it, I'm sorry I did not get it cleaned up." "That's not- That is not it," he said, but she perfectly knew that. He didn't care to find his tea-set used, it was the fact she had used it in his office. "What were you doing in there?" "I needed a place to talk with someone who wanted work here." "Without informing me?!" he said, obviously pissed. "It's not like you care, is it? You don't even interact with the people who work here. And I thought here child could spread some nice atmosfære around here." "Her child?!" He sighed frustrated. His anger was obvious, but this was not the first time Satomi doing something so reckless as this, and he knew perfectly that it would not change anything. "You can't just go around and do whatever you want, Satomi! Now, you just have to let her hopes down by firing her." Satomi looked away from him, looking like she was thinking concentrated about something. "What was her name again..." "You don't even remember the name of the woman you just gave work?!" "What? Oh no, not her. You know who I am talking about..." It took him only a second to realize what she meant. "Her name... it was something very sweet, and romantic." He kept quiet. "Do you remember her name? You must have!" She was getting him, she knew already she was in control. "Momoka," he said embarrassed. For a second she felt sorry for him, but she could not stop now. "Oh yeah, Momoka... what a nice name. 'A hundred flowers,'" she said He sighed, he knew that she had won. "Fine, you get what you want, the woman stays. Just... don't tell about Momoka." "Oh, I would never! Your secret is safe with me," she said sarcastic. She was not going to tell anyone, not as long as got what she wanted.
