Ellie|Scout Apprentice
Ellie blushed. "Well I won't always have someone to back me up in a fight. I may not like to fight but it would be stupid of me to think I never will fight, right?" She shrugged. "I may as well focus on getting strong enough to face him. I can change my motivation once I top his level." She looked at the ground sheepishly "I do better when I have something to focus on. If I don't my mind jumps around and I can't get anything done." She blushed. She had said more than had meant to. Her honesty often ran away with her mouth. She just hoped it didn't freak Evie out.

Evie | Scout Apprentice
Ellie started explaining her view, and what she meant with "being able to take him". It all actually made sence for her. "Well that sound more reasonable than I have ever been" she said with a smiling shrug. Evie looked down a minute. She was thinking. The bread and the meat stood in front of her. "I know you told him we were not gonna say anything to anyone"actually", Evie said. "But I am going to tell Samantha. She is not going to say or do anything about it though."

Ellie sighed in relief. "Now I don't feel as bad about telling Eric. He won't do anything about it since we worked everything out. As long as he doesn't find out about us telling we will be fine." Ellie had finished her food so she stood up. "I'd better find Eric, before he comes looking for me. I will see you around. Maybe we can train some tomorrow." She smiled shyly in farwell, as she trotted off.
She found Eric finishing off what was likely his third or fourth serving. She had him follow her to the hiding place. She told him what had happened. Eric was not happy but promised not to speak of it since everything had been resolved. They did some work on resisting magic attacks until dinner.

Evie | Scout Apprentice
Evie sat alone for a while, but then Samantha came. She must have figured I went to eat, since I did not return, Evie thought.. "There you are" she said, and joined her. She already got some food for herself. "Where were you going before? You did not come back when you were done", she said, and she took a piece of a pear. "I saw a group of people" Evie started. "I wanted to find out what was going on. Apparently Ellie knocked someone out" "Ellie?! Like the littl girl Ellie?" Samantha said "Yeah, I had a hard time beliving it myself. Anyway, he woke up, and I ended up in a fight with him too". Evie was quiet for a moment after she said that. And so was Samantha. She put her apple down. "You can not keep fighting like this. You are doing it way to often, this is some serious stuff. You are 7 now, in a year you will be 8. If you -" "Wauw, what a math-teacher we got here" Evie said sarcastic, and a little annoyed. "If you keep going on like this, people will start to see you as a threat to the herd, and you could get kicked out." "I KNOW!" Evie said, a little too loud. She bowed her head. "I know..." she said again, a little more quiet this time. "I don't what to got kicked out..." "Then stop fighting all the time" "It is not that simple..." Evie said. Samantha pushed herself closer to Evie. She hugged her. "I know, I know sweetie".

Ellie|Scout Apprentice
Ellie enjoyed her one on one time with Eric. They worked specifically on defenses against magic attacks from another air mage. Eric explained it like it was a tug-of-war. Because they both used the same magic she could over ride it if her magic level was above theirs. If they were more evenly matched she might not be able to stop it but she might be able to stall it. To keep the damage at it's lowest until they ran out of steam. The hardest would be going against someone stronger. Eric taught her the basics of using her own magic to do the least possible to survive an attack. They practiced that the longest.
They were starving when they made it to dinner. They had more of what they had for lunch. Ellie didn't mind, she liked fruit and the meat wasn't aweful. She sat beside Eric and watched for Evie. She liked the filly, and trusted her to have her back in a pinch. She liked to think Evie felt the same about her. She was not completely comfortable with her, but she figured they could get passed that.

Evie | Scout Apprentice
Samantha and Evie was soon done with their food, and headed out for training again. Sine Evie had train magic already once same day, her and Samantha decided Evie needed some fighting practise. Oh well, she did not need it, since that was a thing she was good at, but she could always improve. So Samantha got her to practise with another girl Evie had meet yeasterday - Lysa. She was a second year, but a healer apprentice, so she was not really good at fighting. Even after they were done with that, they spent the rest of the day together. They tried to train, and they lost intrest, so they was not working really hard for the last few houres. When it got to dinner time, Evie and Lysa joind another boy they had both meet the day before. His name was Mick, and a third year. They were eating the same they had earlier. Evie was not a big fan of the sweet stuff, so she took more dry meat and bread. As they were laughing and having fun, Evie suddenly got eye contact with Ellie. Evie smiled at her. "What are you smileing at?" Lysa asked. "Just someone nice I met yeasterday" she answered. "Really?! Who is it?" "Uhh, the girl over there" she said and pointed. Evie was not sure Ellie would like the attention from this stranger, but on the other hand, Lysa was a really cool girl, and it would not harm Ellie that someone was just giving her a smile. And that was what Lysa did, she simply smiled and looked at Ellie.

Ellie|Scout Apprentice
Ellie finally spotted Evie with a couple of campers. She was a little disappointed. Ellie was a little possessive of 'her's people and Evie had become one of them. Evie spotted her and smiled. That made Ellie smile back. The filly with Evie spotted her smile and seemed to ask a question. Ellie was surprised when Evie pointed her out. The new filly gave a friendly smile, and Ellie remembered herself in time to smile back. She even gave a little nod. Eric saw her and smiled. "See you can do this. You over think and second guess yourself into a mess. But when you relax a little it gets easier. You don't have to be so nervous all the time." Leave it to Eric to squeeze in a lesson wherever he could. He did have a point. The more she stressed the worse things went. This proved it to her, at least a little.
After she finished eatting she cleaned up a bit, before she went to where she had slept last night. She lay on her back with her head out from under the trees, watching the sky change color as the sun set.

Evie | Scout Apprentice
The stars had started to appear on the night sky, and all the apprentices had gone to their sleep places. "Are you ready for tonight?" Lysa asked. Evie had joined her this night. She thought that since she had spent so much time with Ellie, maybe she wanted to be alone for a while. That is at least what she told herself. "Hell yeah I am!" Evie answered. Her, Lysa and Mick had planed to sneak out this night. Mich was a third year scout apprentice, her and Lysa belived they could do it with his help.
The time passed on, and most people fell to sleep. When it was dark, Evie and Lysa got up. "Where will we meet up with him?" Evie whispered. "I know where, just follow me". They had picked a time to sneak out where the camp worker was not there, so they had to be quick. They could not be caught walking around. To get out, they had picked a route that would leed them past Evie's sleepplace from the day before. "Isn't that the girl from dinner?" Lysa asked, and pointed at Ellie. "Yeah, it is" Evie replied, without even thinking of what she would do. "Hey, are you awake?" she asked, and bowed her head down to Ellie.

Ellie was quite relaxed and hadn't been paying attention. When Evie spoke she jumped a little and rolled back to her belly. "Evie you startled me. Yes I'm awake what's up?" About that time she saw Evie's new friends. She wilted a little but tried to relax like Eric told her. She smiled shyly and managed a quiet hello in the other campers direction.

Evie | Scout Apprentice
"I just wanted to make sure" she said, smiling. Before she could get to say anything else, Lysa interrupted: "We are sneaking out, wanna join us?" she said, witha smile that was almost too big. Evie turned her head around quick. "Shh! Not so loud" she said. "Oh yeah, sorry" she said, but was not really affected by Evie's snappy comment. Evie had not expected Lysa so ask Ellie out. She did not mind Ellie going with them, but she simply did notexpect Ellie to enjoy it as much as Evie would herself. Who knows, maybe it would be fun for her. She looked back on Ellie, waiting for her answer.

Ellie |Scout Apprentice
Ellie Was very surprised when the new filly asked if she wanted to sneak out with them. Evie did not look upset that the new girl had asked. This made Ellie think for a moment. This could be a good opportunity to try and make acquaintances and practice her social skills. Not that she enjoyed breaking rules, but she knew of at least six campers doing so last night. Obviously no one was terribly worried about that rule. Ellie took a deep breath and smiled. "Sure, do we have a plan or are we just winging it?"

Evie | Scout Apprentice
Evie had not expected Ellie to say yes, but was honestly glad she did. "Nahh, kinda? We are going to meet Mick somewhere, and then we will just take it from there". Evie said. Then Lysa said: "He is a third year, so he have tried this many times before". Evie had - because this was her second night on her first year - never tried before to sneak out of camp, so she was excited and glad. She loved this. Sneaking around in the darkness, being the kings and queens of the night, and nobody could tell them what to do.

Ellie was not sure if she was more nervous or excited. She scooted over to make room for the fillies. She wasn't sure if she should make a suggestion, but the worst they could do is say no. "Um, I had a thought. Um... since there is three of us they might spot a group faster than they would see just one. Maybe we leave one at a time and meet in that brush over there before we meet up with Mick?" She thought a moment before continuing. She had planned on telling Evie about the hiding place, now it would be useful. "Eric showed me a place he would go to hide out when he was a camper. I can show you if you like."

Evie | Scout Apprentice
Evie and Lusa thought about what Ellie had said for a while. "Hey, that is not a bad idea actually!" Lysa said. "I'll start", and then she walked quick over to the bush Ellie had suggested . She was fearless. Evie thought abot if she really liked the idea, or of she simply said yes, because of her good behavior. Either way, Evie honetsly liked the idea. "That is smart" was all she said for now. "Eric showed me a place he would go to hide out when he was a camper. I can show you if you like. " Ellie said. A secret place? Evie thought. That sounds so cool! "I actually think Mick got something planned. But I would like to see it. What 'bout tomorow?"
